Ichthyological Farm

This weekend we went to an Ichthyological Farm (Ichthyology from Greek: ἰχθύς, ikhthus, "fish"; and λόγος, logos, "study" is the branch of zoology devoted to the study of fish). Here they raise fish, have hatcheries and A RESTAURANT! We had lots of yummy fish to eat and had a great time being with friends! They also had a small "zoo" with horses and ponies, turkeys, hens and roosters, swans, peacocks and wild bunny rabbits!

Having fun on the swings
Enrico and his "assassin face"
(the cobweb makes it even more dramatic! ahah)

This pony was about to pop! You could see her baby kick from the outstide!

This is a female turkey and her eggs! All 24 of them!

The beautiful scenery all over....

What a better way to end the day if not with a stunning sunset!

She must have been! They told us that she was due anytime between then and next day! It was strange to see the hooves kicking from the inside out, but, I guess it's just the same for them as for human women when they are pregnant....

What a fun day. I bet the fish was delicious and I'm not even a huge fish fan. The pictures are amazing. I'll be thinking about that poor little mommy!
